White asparagus grows in spring on the sandy soils of the Landes and southwest of France. It marks the end of winter and the arrival of sunny days. Canned vegetables, canned food has always been a way of extending its consumption period. Peeled by us, blanched, then embellished with a little sugar and lemon.
Carefully remove the asparagus from the jar and place it on an asparagus dish. Consume them as is with a house dressing or mayonnaise.
