At the Château Clinet everyone aspires to offer the best of Pomerol's terroirs, with passion and know-how. By clinet cleverly assembles the three different terroirs that characterize Pomerol.
Clinet works with a selection of winegrowers to compose this original wine, including 25% of the production of Château Clinet. The winemaking and aging are carried out by the same team and with the same attention as for the “great wine”. Aging in barrels of a wine enhances the complexity and finesse of the aromas. Born in boston, the artist gordon hopkins, lives today between Barcelona and Brussels. He paints by superimposing layers of dry oil in sticks. The texture and intensity of
colors, give a unique depth to his paintings. Gordon Hopkins came to Clinet
during the summer of 2017. The work represented on this label is the fruit of a moment
sharing, around a good lunch and good wines, followed by a stroll in the vineyard
of Pomerol. The fragmentation of the plots, the furrow of the small roads, the cheerfulness of the summer landscape were sources of inspiration to realize this joyful patchwork.
